I’ve picked my music. Thanks to Ivan Chew from Singapore and the music he posed on the Internet Archive, I’ve selected “The Hill (2008)”
I didn’t copy it onto the site here, but you can hear it over at Starfish Stories. If you go listen, leave him a comment and thank him for letting me use his work.
It’s coming together! I’m getting excited now.

There is an extra quote character at the end of the link to “The Hill” that results in a 404 error when you click the link. Fix that and all will be good. Looking forward to your new genre venture.
Bah.
Thanks, Richard. Fixed now.
That music is just purr-fect. The opening stanzas with the flute pipes are light and airy and suggestive. Good choice.
Hi Nathan, congrats on the upcoming release of the book. As a librarian, I’m tickled that my music will be featured in a (podio)book! As an amateur musician who believes in CC, I’m just delighted that the music has another use. Glad I put it out there. I’m looking forward to hearing the book. BTW, my surname is ‘Chew’, not ‘Chen’ (interestingly you’re not the first person to have made that mistake either, LOL)
ACK! I’m so sorry! It’s a finger problem. Really. I knew the correct name but by fingers find the N key more easily than the W. They’re so close to each other on the keyboard I get confused. 🙂
Im assuming because the book is a tanyth fairport adventure where are the rest of her adventuers?
Still in my head.
I’ll be getting to those as soon as I finish up the projects I’ve got planned for the Golden Age of the Solar Clipper books.
Thank you Nathan – I’m most of my way into the story and have loved it very much. I’m very much look forward to the other adventures that you have currently stored in your head.
