If you’ve not been following the news over at The Solar Clipper Diary, then you’re not aware that I’ve decided to release Ravenwood on my own. With Samhain coming and my science fiction delayed, this seems like a good time to get people interested in the world of Tanyth Fairport and her special brand of magic.
That’s the full wrap cover for the print version. I’ll use just the front (obviously) for the ebook. We’re getting the proofreading done now and I hope to kick out a galley proof this weekend as soon as I get all the changes incorporated. Once I see that, I’ll pull the trigger on paper and ebook formats including – for the first time – selling ebooks direct from here.
I’m shooting for a release date that makes the books available around the end of the month so you’ll have a little something extra this Halloween.

Great news Nathan, I had only started listening to Ravenwood again last week so this is very timely. I will definitely buy the ebook when it is available.
I already have all the other epub versions of the traders tales published so far . At this rate I’ll have to rename my KOBO Ereader the Nathan Lowell Ereader….lol.
Thanks.
I’m looking forward to getting this book out in the wild! 😀
Nice Cover. I also like the Lammas Wood title picture.
This is GREAT news… any chance of a limited run hardback?
Hm.
Hardcovers? Lemme look into that.
It’s entirely possible.
That cover is perfect!!
I’m so glad you’re coming out with another book. I have to say that I’ve enjoyed your podiobooks more then any others I’ve listened to. The character development and flow of your books is very enjoyable for me. I will gladly download the ebook also. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Galley proof on the way already.
If you’ve got more corrections, send ’em. I’ll be marking up the hard copy soon.
I’ll post pic when it comes in.
Great news, Nathan! I have been waiting with keen anticipation the sequel to Ravenwood. I’ve been trying for years to get my text-biased daughter to listen to the book, and now she will have a selection of formats from which to choose.
One point –which I’m sure was addressed years ago and I missed on the boards– as I was listening to Ravenwood for the fourth time:
In Episode 2 Megan’s husband’s name seems to be “Dave”, while the rest of the book it is “Harry”. One would assume this inconsistency will be reconciled?
I’ll check that, Kathy.
It’s entirely likely I botched it.
This is great news; will definitely be getting the ebook! I love the cover! Also, can’t wait for a sequel – any idea when book 2 will be out?
I’m planning on doing the sequel for NaNoWriMo so I’ll have a rough draft by the end of November. 😀
Wonderful news!
Any chance of an audio version for us dyslexics? Pretty please?
You do know that Ravenwood has been out in audio for almost two years now, don’t you?
Oooooh … my bad. Had the impression this was the sequel. Sorry. Am just too impatient for further Tanyth adventures ;o)
I’m writing the sequel now .. should be out January-ish 😀
