You can now order paperback versions through Amazon.
Ebooks are also available at a variety of places including the Kindle Store at Amazon and Barnes and Noble and even Smashwords.
I’ve got a case of books on the way here, but they won’t be here for another week. (I picked cheap shipping. sorry).
They’re here and I’ve added a “Buy Direct” Page up there. Who want’s to be the first brave person to try it out and tell me how/if it works?

Sweet, is it safe assuming the case is for people who want to order signed copies?
I got the paper copy and the cover is beautiful in print! This one goes to the library.
Yes, Adam.
Soon as I have them in hand, I’ll put up a contact form where you can order a paperback with inscription.
I am thrilled to hear the release of this work in book form. I am excited about the prospect of owning both a hardback copy for my library (signed for self-indulgance) and another for the local public library. I plan to use this work in an upcoming read for a teen book club, especially with the availability in both paperback and e-form. There are about 25 in my little circle and I am sure it will speak to them all in one way or another. Thank you again for such wonderful works, you are indeed a master word smith.
Teens? That’s not where I’d have thought this work would find traction.
Let me know if you’d like me to skype in and chat with the group.
I’m surprised you didn’t expect the teens to take to it. The language never rises to the level of a R-rating, much less NC-17. There’s a lot of examples of non-violent conflict resolution, which would make it popular with Those In Charge.
The main character is a little old lady.
Granted, she’s a little old lady with a stick and an attitude but still… 😀
Oh, I agree that this would be great for teens, especially in a group! The book will speak to them, perhaps in ways that we don’t imagine. Great idea, Ingrid!
Thanks Nate, I’ll keep an eye out for it!
There’s a paperback with my name on it in this box. 😉
Any word on when the e-book might be up on your personal store site?
I’m kinda hoping to get my kindle stats up a bit, but the case of paperbacks just showed up, so I’ll get that link set up this weekend.
Need 2500 more words today before I stop writing.
Good heavens, man! Write! Write!
It works! It works! Or at least, it seemed to work from this side!
*KITTEN EYES* E-books in the E-book store too at some point? (Kinda surprised the Trader’s Diary e-books aren’t up in it…)
And I got an email notice telling me there’s an order to process, so now i have to see how to get the shipping label printed and the book on the way tomorrow.
Ebooks will come up tomorrow too
And I don’t have distribution rights to the Trader’s Diary stories so.. no, they can’t be there until/unless I pull them back from Ridan. At least for the first three. They haven’t published the second three yet so there’s a bit of a snarl there. 😀
Oh, ok – I probably got mixed up when you were e-mailing copies of Odin’s Outpost, and thought you’d been e-mailing out Trader’s Diary e-books too. I remember hearing comments about Ridan’s fulfillment on them.
Got the notice the book shipped! YAY!
And it’s ready to go in the mail as soon as i go to pick up kids from school 🙂
And it’s received in the mail today! LOOKS AWESOME!!!!! It’s next in the reading queue, as there’s a bit left in the current read that I have to get through.
The pushback against giving it to teens might be from the social/religious conservatives. Both for the godless spiritualism and the primative socialism , a la Israeli kibbutz.

Both of which I found charming (no pun intended) and perfectly fitting the story. I did wonder what the incentive was for the quarymen, however.
Where would I find an epub of the book. The link for Barnes and Noble leads to Amazon and the Smashword one says that it’s no longer published at Smashwords. I tried looking at B&N but it’s not listed there and I don’t have a kindle so the Amazon won’t work for me.
Unfortunately, it won’t be available again in EPUB until the exclusive contract with Amazon expires in early March.
You can, in fact, buy the Amazon version and convert it to epub using any of the commonly available converters. I publish without DRM so it should not be a problem.
